What I like best is the ability to collect responders information. In an education setting it is not unusual for students or parents to attempt to submit multiple responses. I can highlight what are most likely multiple responses when I submit my results.

Admin likes the Summary Data export for meetings. It allows them to view results and trends at a glance.

What do you like best about Synthesia?

I would say the tool is very easy to use and it makes video creation very seamless for everyone. Of course, there are some issues, like templates and scripts to be solved by yourself, but the tool itself helps a lot in this process. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Synthesia?

The part I've liked least is the high price of the tool, especially for startups. There should be a plan to pay per use or something similar to avoid continuous expenses, even when your capacity to produce videos is very limited. As a startup, departments are not defined for creating videos - very often, we make videos as needed and do it with the current staff, shifting priorities at the moment to produce them.

There is an important issue with the avatars: the current avatars do not blink - even in version 3. This is very noticeable in some long scenes. It should be fixed soon to improve the naturalness of the videos. Also, shoul be great to have the possibility to change the voice tone not only the type. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Synthesia solving and how is that benefiting you?

We are using Synthesia to create tool navigation videos to explain a few features and address some recurring issues from our customers. The main idea behind our subscription is to create videos to help our product become even more self-service and less dependent on human interaction, especially for common doubts or questions. OptiSigns has allowed up to update communications to our team members very quickly. We are able to send out updates on over 10 monitors as needed very quickly. We can update our monitors as offten or we would like sometimes it multiple times per day. Having built in templates has also been a help to us. I would say that the thing that has been troublesome for me was the learning curve. However, we have had good experience with customer support. I do wish that there were times that the formulas were a bit more explanatory. Sometimes, you are not able to see recurring meetings on the desktop, or if they are on the desktop version, they are not on the online version. Also, sometimes, we don't get sound recorded even though it says "recording in progress."

What do you like best about Mentimeter?

I teach online remote classes, and some students don't speak up in the discussions. The reasons vary from a fear of being incorrect in front of classmates to a lack of confidence in English.

Mentimeter is a bridge that students are willing to cross without fear. The anonymity makes it easier for them to contribute. The variety of options, ranging from Wordcloud to open-ended questions, increases my options to engage students. The ready-to-use templates are a valuable addition.

There isn't anything to dislike, but there is always a scope for improvement, and that is what I would like to share.

Presenting to MS Teams option is helpful, but it would be great if other remote classroom tools, such as Zoom, etc. could be included. What do you like best about Envoy Visitors?

Our employees receive a text on their mobile device and an email in their Inbox immediately when their guest arrives and checks in. When the receptionist is not available at the lobby entrance, the Envoy device can easily notify hosts of their guests with no delay. It's a perfectly seamless solution for our company's needs. What do you dislike about Envoy Visitors?

We wish the iPad had a 100% touchless QR feature. As of now, it requires a touch to initiate the QR code.

We wish the app had a timeout feature for long periods of inactivity, so that the iPad is not locked with the app open 24/7 and can be given the opportunity to timeout. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Envoy Visitors:

Consider using both the Pre-Registration option and also the mobile app for employee check-in, it's a great extra tool to have. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Envoy Visitors solving and how is that benefiting you?

It is now a natural part of our visitor check in process. It's a faster and more efficient method of notifying hosts of their visitors. We're not quite sure how we ever survived without it. What do you like best about Qminder?

Qminder is incredibly simple to setup. We love the ability to have our staff chat with clients from the interface while clients are waiting. We love the Apple TV App that shows clients right where they are in the queue. We started out using Qminder at one campus and are in the midst of expanding it to all of our campuses. What do you dislike about Qminder?

We wish that the user interface our clients see when they sign in was more customizable. Our work around was to hook up a Gravity Form via Zapier to pass through the data to Qminder for the sake of our unique use case. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Qminder solving and how is that benefiting you?

Atlanta Mission serves individuals experiencing homelessness daily. Monday through Friday, we do screening and intake at our main campuses. We wanted our clients to really take ownership over signing in, and following along to know when they were going to be called. It also helps us ascertain what order the individuals came in to be screened.

In addition, last year, we began to have our existing clients sign up through one of our existing solutions for appointments with their case managers. Now, when they arrive for their appointments, they're able to check in so a staff member knows when they've arrived. If the staff member is running behind, they're able to easily message the client while they wait to let them know. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
