There were a few growing pains early on, but the Ninja team has stepped up and owned the problems every time. Things are considerably smoother these days. What do you like best about MaintainX?

MaintainX is great for a lot of reasons that make my job easier. The work order, asset, and procedure management allows my team to do 5 times the work because we are organized. Maybe the best "feature" is the customer service and development team. They are constantly updating the software to make it better for the user. Everytime I notice a feature that could be improved, it seems to get improved with the new update almost everytime. Also, every person I speak with is extremely nice and helpful. What do you dislike about MaintainX?

What do you like best about Atera?

Just how detailed the information on workstations and servers we can get without having to be intrusive with the office and (possibly) interrupt their workflow. Having all the information without needing to log in anywhere makes this EoL search a dream for our techs. The ability to implement the agent via a simple package for deployment is fantastic! Not only the agent but the audit reporting to pull specs without any additional remote logins etc is phenomenal! Providing customer support without having to remote in and use the task manager, CMD, and power shell is a GAME CHANGER! Using this on a daily basis helps with not integrating this with our new clients but also allowing us to use it along site our ticket system for asset tracking makes everything easy! At one point, giving access to customers to our technicians need to do find the "one specific" new customer in atera was rather cumbersome at times but now with the new update we can just give our technicians access to ALL customers as needed without additional clicks! Asset tracking! wanting to know if a PC or server is EoL or nearing used to take a lot of time, we needed to log in invidivually to each PC was not only time consuming but also tedious. What do you like best about ManageEngine Endpoint Central?

With so many features its hard to say what I like best. However if I had to say something I guess it would be the interface and the fact that all the features are in one area. The fact that you can control every aspect of a computer is awesome. I started with anothewr company recently and have another program whos name I wont mention. However I can't wait to our contract ends which is soon so I can purchase the full version and really get all the great features. I've used Endpoint Central in another company and it just works. First off the patch managemet feature is much better then all the other programs I have used in the past and I have been in IT management for over 30 years.

What do you dislike about Freshservice?

The reporting features are not well developed. There are a lot of basic reports that we use to run from our previous help desk system that we are unable to do within FreshService. E.g. report against a contract number to see the associated/linked assets. In some ways, the reporting is overcomplicated.

Asset discovery/management. By using the Discovery Probe we can now ensure we haven't missed any devices when manually importing them into FreshService. What do you like best about Nerdio Manager?

Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) needs a third-party manager. Nerdio's offering brings cost savings via its proprietary scaling model. The savings extend to reduced administrative overhead in managing images, software deployments, problem resolution, and more. Since choosing Nerdio over a year ago, we only encountered one issue that required reaching out to support. While tier-one support could not resolve the issue the same day, we received a satisfactory response within 24 hours. At no time did the issue cause downtime for our tenant.

For those just starting out with AVD, consider a Nerdio trial. You can build your first image and deploy a workspace and host pool in less than a day. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Nerdio Manager?

Nerdio Manager is expensive! The licensing cost should be recovered by the scaling model savings, but it does eat into the savings tremendously.

We regularly run into errors with the 'User cost attribution' report. Redeploying Nerdio resolves the issue, but repeatedly doing this is aggravating. Lastly, Nerdio "power off and set as image" will fail on the sysprep stage if there are errors--Nerdio does not check for these possible issues including having antivirus installed on the image VM.

- Makes managing Microsoft Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) easier than using native Microsoft tools.

- Scaling models within Nerdio are superior (in our humble opinion) than native Microsoft scaling models.

- Faster resolution when there are host or image issues.

We use Click Maint to help manage work orders, repairs and scheduled maintenance for our office building. The software helps us stay on top of work and keep organized. It helps us to stay on top of scheduled preventive maintenance, equipment warranties, contractors and repairs and costs. A great feature is that we get notifications when maintenance is required. The mobile app is very easy to use especially on the go. There are nothing but good things to say about Click Maint: easy to use, easy to set up, and affordable. The most useful feature that I got from BackBox is its ability to provide a means of making automatic backups and performing recoveries on network devices. Which makes scheduling of backups and control of device configurations easy and since we can integrate it with our network management tools – these tasks are not a headache. A weakness of BackBox is that the first steps of its configuration might be somewhat lengthy especially when it comes to configuration of other network appliances. Furthermore, although the software components of the system afford rather high levels of dependability, we sometimes face difficulties in restoring data and business continuity, which take a toll on our operations. The issue of having to perform extensive manual backup and configuration, which has been our routine, has been eliminated by BackBox and this has improved our network operations. These means of automation have resulted to improved backup dependability and quick back up recovery with reduced human input. What do you like best about Brightly Asset Essentials?

The ability to have all the different locations use the program and attach pictures to the work order request so that we know where the problem is. I love the option that you can use your cell phone as well which makes it easier for the requestor to be able to be at the specific area that needs attention and not have to go to a computer to write up what's wrong. I also love the fact we the ones that have to assign the work order request can select different personnel to look and assess the problem. It was very easy to implement the program to all of our users that were going to be the ones entering the work orders. What do you like best about Nicus?

The tool is very straightforward to administer. I have 13 regular users in our IT Finance team plus a variety of users in other areas of IT and the Business. The normal administrative functions are easy to use and allow me to see most of the views I need out of the box. Customizing reports and tables is a drag and drop interface. What do you dislike about Nicus?

There are a few views I would like to have as an administrator that are not part of the regular report package. This makes it harder to see what reports are available to particular users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Nicus solving and how is that benefiting you?

WE have transferred all the day to day work of the IT Finance team to Nicus. This has gotten them off of multiple spreadsheets and allowed better reporting. One team member told me that now the tools used are not the bottleneck but getting the reports from the cost center owners. We do all financial reporting out of Nicus now and the IT directors are used to seeing the financial reports in Nicus. What do you like best about Genuity?

The quality of the product and the exstremly high level of customer service and repsonse time provided by the support staff. When we came on board we had a lot of assistance getting the system implemented and I was expecting the hand holding to stop there. Nope! They continue to this day to be incredibly responsive to any questions that might come up.

It was easy to set up and integrate into our system because it is web based. It is super easy to use and has many of the features that the super expensive ticket systems have. I've been working in the IT Customer Service industry for over 30 years now and have run through countless different ticket systems. This system has everything that you truly need to do the job and cuts out the useless junk.

What problems is Genuity solving and how is that benefiting you?

We were in need of a ticket system initially but then realized it has all the other features. So, we started to utilize asset management, telephony billing managment and contracts. The best part was these were just added bonus features that came in the can at the very low price per month.

I have two teams that utilize the ticket system. One for outside the orginization and one for internal. They were both very easy to set up and only took me one communication with the staff at Genuity and maybe 1 hour.

These guys have a great business model. Offer a robust and meaningful tool that isn't overloaded with useless junk at an unbeatable price combined with stellar customer service. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
