Una cosa que no me gustó fue que en la versión 2.2 no se pusiera la integración de Openshift ya que sólo estaba disponible para la versión cloud. Pero he visto que para la 2.3 sí estará disponible. Lo comento simplemente para que sepáis que actualmente estamos en 2.2 y no podemos monitorizar nuestros clusters openshift y nuestro cliente estaba un poco mosqueado por el tema ya que se había anunciado (sin matices) que en la verisón 2.2 se soportaría openshift.

Sólo para custom graph, creo que se podría mejorar el tema de las gráficas para que sea más visuales como lo son en Grafana y que puedan ser dinámicas. Por ejemplo si haces un custom graph de la CPU de varios servidores, que puedas pinchar en un servidor y sólo te muestre su gráfica o pinchas en varios y muestra varias. The business problem that Splunk solved was creating a custom visualization using Java scripts for rendering a train track, like the current movement of the train on the map or track layout, and also the custom filters that are created with the help of Javascript. Although it has a bigger community where you can find answers to your questions. However, their customer support is not that great. We feel that there is huge delay in raising query vs getting response back from them, We are a regular user of this product..almost daily basis and so we need them to provide us immediate response when in need so that we solve the issue. Au delà d'un certain nombre de capteurs préconfigurés pour des logiciels, constructeurs ou systèmes c'est vite la croix et la bannière de faire des capteurs custom adaptés, l'ensemble rencontre très vite des limitations si vous êtes quelqu'un d'exigeant techniquement ou avec des appliances ou des systèmes particuliers (les scripts custom sont un enfert et on a plus vite fait de customer le SNMP du système en face)

Coté intégration l'API ou externe c'est clairement en retard sur son temps et la solution est donc plus faite pour tourner en stand-alone dans son coin que dans un environnement totalement intégré.

PRTG est facile à déployer, à mettre à jour, et le grand nombre de capteurs pré-configuré permettent de déployer très rapidement des dizaines de probes et les supervisions associés, il permet donc d'avoir une supervision facile à mettre en place et maintenir.
