Customer experience software (CX) refers to a class of software designed to monitor and enhance the overall experience customers have when interacting with a business or a brand. Customer experience software provides information and support to prospective and existing customers while ensuring a positive experience. There are many customer touchpoints, and therefore many different tools needed to affect them; because of this, CX software is not a category so much as it is a family of categories.

Customers who have negative experiences interacting with a business will seek competitors who treat them better or are easier to work with. These negative experiences can come from phone conversations, social media interactions, or face-to-face dealings with salespeople or other employees. A poorly designed website or online store can yield poor experiences, leading to churn. Each business requires a different mix of tools and techniques to fine-tune the customer experience; solutions may be deployed as part of marketing strategy, sales practices, or customer service policies and tools, to name just a few possibilities.

Two categories often thought of first when considering customer experience are help desk and customer success software, because they both involve human interaction hopefully leading to a satisfied customer and a closed case. AI sales assistant chatbots automate simple interactions and transactions so customers can quickly achieve their goals. Enterprise feedback management provides a flow of data on what a business is doing right and where it is failing to meet expectations. Customer journey analytics software monitors and records actual customer use of a business’ digital assets across multiple channels, both to see how well existing processes are working and to craft more ideal paths for customers to take in their use. Account-based marketing is an attempt to focus more attention on key accounts and treat them like valued relationships. Social media management engages customers at critical points in the customer’s journey—the point where they are pleased, curious, or annoyed enough with a brand to post about it in a public forum. CRM is one of the earliest attempts to manage customer experience, and the data from CRM systems is often integrated with other CX applications.

Easy to schedule posts to multiple platforms. Easy to find ideal posting times. The smart inbox is easy to use. I also like the reporting section and the Instagram Grid Planner. I think what I like the best is how easy it is to use Instantly for a beginner. I reckon they have all kinds of pieces of training which you can assist with as well if you are like me, new to cold email software. What do you dislike about Instantly?

I think what I don't like the most is integrating cold email campaigns with warm up email settings.

You have to go to campaign options to figure out how many emails a day you should use, but then you have to go to your email accounts and also change in the settings the number of daily warm-up emails. There’s nothing specific that we can point out here, but one thing we’d like to add is in the initial stage, it’s sometimes difficult to get used to the platform. What problems is Insider solving and how is that benefiting you?

We were finding it difficult to engage with our inactive and churned users. That’s why we need a solution that could help us bring back those users to our website, and keep them engaged and retained. Thus, to re-develop interest among them, we decided to use email as a channel to communicate with them. It took us a few days to decide which platform we should use and then we came to know about Insider.

With the help of their Digital Growth team, we were able to create segmented email campaigns as well as newsletters. Given that all these campaigns were highly personalized, we observed a good opt-in rate. As a company that's leaning forward, they occasionally sell to customers who shouldn't be buying, and they still haven't completely figured out the best ways to support and encourage their partners (Value Added Resellers, VARs), which sometimes results in short-term confusion and frustration both with customers and VARs. Sales Cloud provides our sales and account management teams the ability to manage their entire funnel and portfolios in one place and share the data and insights with each other through Forecast, Reports, Dashboards, and Chatter. Our leaders and teams can review data at a high level or drill into details with the click of a button to see where we have potential gaps or red flags. It's been fantastic for our sales teams to use the Gmail integration to easily log emails, calls, or add new contacts on the spot. Sales Cloud has really increased efficiency and saved valuable time. Using Scorebuddy has really helped to take our internal quality reviews to the next level. Instead of having to rely on separate lists and Excel files to keep track of scores, we can easily use Scorebuddy to create scorecards, review our agents and share and discuss the results in a very nice way.

Next to that, the team at Scorebuddy has been really helpful in listening to our requests for improvement and making these a reality. Superb support!

Lately, we've also found more and more uses for Scorebuddy within the organisation. What started as a Service Desk QA tool, is now developing into a standard tool for measuring quality across multiple teams with different goals. Close is the most effective tool I've used for contacting leads as soon as they come into our crm, staying on top of them as well with multiple touch points and then efficiently being organized to help with follow up.

Playvox It is easy to navigate. I'm able to quickly find the reports I need it breaks down by different QA cards based on need so I can filter out the ones that I'm specifically looking at. It is also giving me the ability to quickly find pain points within my files to make them better for my team and provide additional trainings as needed. What do you like best about ActiveCampaign?

I like predictive sending inside of the Automations, as well as the search feature. You can really find contacts easily. I also like the "last engaged date" feature which makes it easy to identify who is engaging with us. Its very easy to upload contacts. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ActiveCampaign?

I wish they had predictive sending in Campaigns, not just automation. I want to be able to send single emails easily with predictive send, or at least use "contacts time zone", you have to chose a specific time. Sometimes the email building feature is a little hard to navigate. I think they are improving the segmentation, but that also is sometimes hard to understand. We used to get free consultations twice a year with an Activecampaign team member to help us with questions and if we can improve anything, but now that has been revoked. We have to pay for it (despite our cost of use going UP), and its very difficult to connect with them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
