While I like many of the features like the retractable left side menu and Kanban board, I may find the per-user customization a bit limited for my taste.

The mobile app sucks. It's basically unusable and Smartsheet doesn't allow you to choose to use the mobile Chrome or Safari browser instead of the app. There is so much feature limitation on the mobile app. I honesly can't think of a system that is as awesome as Smartsheet that has a mobile app that is as limited and as terrible as it is. It would be easier to say what we don't use it more. We don't use it for ToDo lists or for messaging. We use Todoist and Slack for those. Otherwise, we literally use Smartsheet for our business.

I dispatch dozens of work orders daily for 24 forepersons. We recently launched Field Service for front-end desk users and mobile users in the field. The drag-and-drop functionality in scheduling makes this feature so easy to use from my chair and the field personnel being able to quickly see their service appointments on a map, reject or accept what's been dispatched to them is fast and easy to do. In our construction industry, moving away from paper even into spreadsheet took time. Graduating to filling out forms on an iPad was the next step. It's not an industry known to be accepting of change. But Salesforce makes it so easy, our early adopters have seen the benefit and picked it up immediately. Impressive!! I couldn't set more than one task responsible; when I try to assignee another person, the task is duplicated, and I didn't want this behavior. Another view I would like to see is a dropdown menu of Portfolios. Today we have only Projects, Teams and Starred. The main problem I had that Asana solved is the quantity of users that I can have. I need to share tasks and have the interation of my clients, and Asana fits perfect for that. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Hugh downside for us is that we can not add contracted employees. We are a small company and have 4 contracted employees which do not need to use any of the feature (like requesting time off, payroll, etc.) in BambooHR, therefore it doesn't pay to pay for them to be added to BambooHR. Since their isn't a way to add this type of contractor for free, they do not show on the company dircetory and we have to maintain a seperate company directory.

I also wished we could link the Who's out calendar to our current calendar instead of just adding another calendar in out Outlook. Would also like to see entries in the Who's out calendar show notes from the time off requests, or be able to add notes that are not lost when the calendar refreshes. Right now if an employee takes of half of a, there is no way to note if they are out in the am or pm.

Do not like the asset tracking. I would like to have a main location to add an asset and assign it from there instead of having to recreate the same equipment anytime it is reassigned to someone else. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

When approving time off requests, BambooHR show you who else is schedule off during that time. This helps us manage and maintain adaquate coverage. I wish that Rippling integrated with our timecard system more seamlessly for time off requests. We have found a solution that works for us, but it does reqiure an extra step. #1 - it's starting to be a bit of a lead / follow-up board. We receive leads on people, subjects, businesses - we put them all into Trello. This is our primary list location for all future story tellers.

There are no specific points to dislike about Keka however the response from the customer support team sometimes takes longer. The process flow is lengthier and it consumes more time to read the entire module to understand the process. Keka helps to resolve the manual calculations that are involved in payroll processing. It helps to circulate Form 16 easily to all the employees. It helps to calculate the income tax and document collection in one place. The leave and attendance management module makes it easier to track the employees attendance and penalize them whenever required. Keka is very useful for performance management and to implement the OKR module to track the performance of the resources. It helps in terms of goal setting, performance evaluation, and feedback sessions, which motivates employee engagement and growth. Absolutely the biggest gripe is how Connecteam advertises a QuickBooks integration to export timesheets. This is inaccurate as you can only export regular hours. You cannot export PTO or OT from Connecteam to QBO......major bummer.

The ability to customize the home page or "Feed" page would be nice. The default shortcuts aren't always what's most frequently used by users.

The features and set up can be a bit manul at times which makes onboarding this tool move slower than I would like. I wish some of the features were more intuitive and more UI focused. Customer facing interfacing is lacking in easy of use and can create bottlenecks. Support team is overseas and creates a less than seamless experience in terms of trying to resolve issues quickly. It helps keep internal processes and procedures clean and bullet proof. The customer facing URL gives customers a chance to particpate in the project roll out. The Forms feature makes it easy to gather and collect data. The files feature allows you to easily store documentation for each project which helps replace Google forms and Drive. There are two minor features we currently miss in Bordio: the ability to export timesheets and a clock timer for tasks. We've provided feedback on these, and we understand they'll be included in upcoming updates. These small drawbacks don't significantly impact our overall positive experience with the product. We are a small team, and before we started using a task management system, we used WhatsApp to assign tasks to each other. However, as our team grew, it turned into complete chaos. The past rendition of MindGenius stage was not as undertaking detailing amicable as current variants and it took a touch of experimentation to get the correct configurations for announcing especially on financials. While assets and time distributions are basic, we actually need to send out the activities to all the more costing driven programming items to get exact costings and following on costings for projects. At first, we utilized MindGenius to catch and make organized web arrangements from gatherings. We utilized the note-taking, dismantling of contemplations, and re-development of brain guides to in a real sense make outlines and wireframes not long after gathering ends. I don't think it would be fair to criticise any features of Surfboard, because the team are so receptive to feedback, requests and recommendations. Excel-based scheduling was problematic - unable to drill down to granular needs such as break/lunch placement. Surfboard allows us to be as specific as we need with break placements, meaning we can avoid breaks/offline activities during key times.

Staff couldn't access their shifts from home, which meant that we regularly had issues with staff turning up at the wrong time or even days. Ability to access Surfboard on the website, or integrating Surfboard with their phone calendars has pretty much eliminated shift errors.
