I would have said that, the inability to export client data that is created in Carepatron made me hesistant. I didn't want the client information locked into the platform with no way of getting it out. I believe the latest update, as of August 19th or so, has implemented an export feature for client details. It's easier to find things to like about Carepatron than it is to find things to dislike. It is one place where I can update, add, reference, and modify important information regarding referrals we recieve, without having to leave the app/website. Currently, I'm having to switch between 3-4 different windows just to get all the information I need to make an informed phone call with a client, followed by updating an additional 2-3 tools to follow up and update information so everyone is on the same page. I can't say there is anything I truly dislike about this program. There are the normal headaches you would experience with any software, but the fact that they have such a great team makes even the tiniest of hiccups easy to deal with. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Most recently I was working on developing a new treatment plan form for my organization and the EHR Your Way team was incredible at listening to my needs and working to find solutions to some complex requests. To be honest I don't think there are any downsides that I'm aware of. I wouldn't say it's cheap, but it's worth it, in my opinion, even if you run a small operation and solo.

The only improvements I'd suggest are: more integrations including TeleHealth having more multi-media capability, or integration of zoom instead, which I tend to prefer as a Clinical hypnotherapist/life coach. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Posting payments was difficult when I started billing in ModMed because I do not like not being able to work an entire remit. All of the denials go to a "denials" bucket in claims. But now I am used to seeing all the denials in the same place. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I am able to scrub claims before they go into the "claims" bucket to be sent out.

While Splose’s online booking system is excellent overall, it could be improved by allowing more traditional booking functionalities, such as opening up specific times instead of only setting bookings by frequency intervals (15 minutes, 30 minutes, etc.). I’d also love more control over which services can be booked on certain days or times.

The Google Calendar integration could be better. While it’s great for visibility, it doesn’t fully sync in a way that limits availability across multiple team members' calendars, making it a bit tricky to manage multiple calendars at once.

The lack of task management capabilities within the platform is a minor downside. Having a task list feature where you can assign follow-ups or tasks to team members and set reminders would be an incredible addition, but it’s not a deal-breaker. Splose has significantly reduced the administrative burden in my practice, from managing client interactions to handling reports and communications. It solves the problem of inefficient client management by providing all the necessary tools—such as case notes, client communication, and reporting—in one place, making it easier for me and my team to focus on client care. The system has been a massive time-saver and has allowed my business to scale without adding extra complexity, contributing to both client satisfaction and business growth. Spry has been very receptive to our customization requests. However, sometimes the customizations take a few days and a few trials to perfect. We also had some minor hiccups with integrations such as scanning and faxing at first, but they were resolved quickly. Overall, any issues we've come across, Spry has been diligent in fixing. Spry's solving many problems unique to physical therapy as a specialty. Their billing dashboard is clean, simple, and easy to utilize. Billing rules improve our compliance with payer-specific reimbursement and compliance requirements. Their carry-forward feature in the documentation section makes charting a breeze. It's also easy to take documented exericse, add them to the patient's HEP, and assign them to the patient, which is improving our patients' compliance with their home exercises. Scheduling appts and creating charts is quick and easy. Their eligibilty checker pulls PT-specific benefits, decreasing the amount of time staff has to spend calling insurance companies directly to verify benefits. Kipu EMR could improve on offering trainings for new users! I was trained by staff members at both organizations I worked at; however, for a general introduction, I wish Kipu EMR had a standard training session that was offered (note: IF such a training already exists, the organizations I worked at did not alert me of them; therefore, I had to rely on on-site personnel to convey the options, some more detailed than others, that the agency utilized). Kipu has made it easy for me to see clients' history "at-a-glance" which is helpful when I arrive on site and take notice of newly-admitted clients. I am able to get a quick view of their primary diagnosis/reason for admission/meds in addition to history on their parental/familial support system. My only complaints are: need for secondary billing to save time, need for ROI intergrated in the system to save time, option for admins to add and remove clients for providers, and option for admins to be able to download and send records as needed! When you call support, even if you are returning a call from someone you can never get past the operator. Tech support doesnt have direct phone numbers or extensions. It's more like - "what haven't they helped with" I am into my role here at Falmouth Peds Dentistry 6 months and this was one of the first things I changed for our office. There are still families that are not tech savy or trust having their information entered into a site, no matter how secure we say it is, so sometimes we need to have a mini computer class to help those individuals, but for the most part families like it far better than paper as well! The ECP software is always evolving and ECP sends out announcements of what is new and what is improved. There are also training opportunities to familiarize yourself with new Features. One of the things they did was the ability to collect electronic signatures which streamlines our intake process and makes things much easier for our staff to have everything in place. High incoming call volumes, by using online scheduling with Luma we are able to reduce incoming calls.

No show rates, by using Luma reminders we were able to reduce the number of no shows and improve appointment conformation rates.

Patients have difficulty completing any form of registering from the link that they receive via text. Also, duplicate accts are sometimes getting created when pts attempt to do the on-line registration. We have had the majority of on-line registrating shut off. Wish appt reminder calls, texts came from a local number. On insurances, I would like to have the ability to add eff dates and term dates to them so that you knew what was eff on a particular date of service. When we have an issue with the system, response time from help desk is slow. Nursing staff has issues with prescriptions going thru successfully. Physicians need to ability to add/change note, not just a spot at bottom of note that states addendum. When running eligibility on insurances, wish effective date of policy was included. There are forms that we still need to get from pts such as HIPAA , medicare secondary questionnaire because pt's don't have the ability to sign or complete online.
