It's easy to set up and use. It plays well with many other SaaS systems that we use and the staff are approachable, friendly, and solution-oriented. If you have issues, Novi doesn't make you file a ticket that gets answered by an anonymous email address. You just open the chat window in the site backend, and you're talking with a team member whose name you know (and who you've probably talked with before) within minutes.

Sync of credit card and receipt data from phone, email and credit card feed I thought was working.... But then they dropped the credit card feed feature and failed to notify me while they kept charging me fees. I had to find out by contacting the help desk!

What I liked least about FloQast was that the initial setup and customization required a significant time investment, particularly for organizations with complex accounting processes. Additionally, while the platform is powerful, there were occasional issues with syncing data from certain accounting systems, which could cause minor delays in the closing process. Rillet has native integrations with Salesforce and Stripe, this allows us to have a clear picture of revenue by customer. I used to spend multiple days each month calculating that information, juggling between CSV downloads and complex formulae in several spreadsheets. Deferred revenue was a nightmare to parse. Now revenue by customer and deferred revenue calculations are all automated and a breeze to navigate within Rillet. Rillet's prepaid automation is super handy too. Ditching my Excel based supporting schedule for prepayments has been a boon to my month end processes. The Stripe reconciliation engine reconciles payouts and fees automatically. Honestly, for the price I'm paying, the product is solid. I've had my gripes with their support team and some of the UI changes they've made over the past year, but overall, they're addressing a critical business function that's remained affordable even as my team has expanded. The ability to track my time and have the hours automatically populate into an invoice has been incredibly time-saving. Offering online payments while passing on fees to clients who choose that option has been a great feature as well. Overall, the templates and integrations have made the product very enjoyable to use, and it's become so essential that I actually take the time to reach out to customer support and provide feedback when things aren't working correctly.
