What I like least about Sage is that there is so much to learn. I had to take alot of training classes in order to just use what I would use for my everyday job. This system unfortunately not be for everyone. I'm a super fast learner but even this was difficult to use starting out and was really confusing. Also, the trainers weren't very good to me. I learned alot just trial and error onmy own- playing around with the system. There is still so much for me to learn as well and it seems as though the learning never ends. I also do not think I have access to the customer support, I believe just our leadership does. Which means I have to reach out to multiple people in order to get help with something. The only thing that Novi does not currently do that we want is facility member-to-member communications. It does connect to other platforms that do that, so it's not a huge issue.

Novi did not have all the bells and whistles that we wanted when we started with them a few years ago, but they've been very responsive to feedback and requests, and have added many new features that we've requested. Novi serves as an information hub for us to track our members (database), but also for our members to participate in the association(website). It's the central focus of our operations and activity. Many other SaaS platforms that we use connect or integrate with Novi in some way, and the two synch to Quickbooks Online saves us a huge amount of time by eliminating the need to export/import transactions and then have to reconcile them.

We've used NetSuite to save time and money on payroll processing and bill payments. We've also gained greater visibility on who is spending what and when. We have established workflows that help us manage spending / signing authority limits and spending approvals. We've upgraded our PO processes to make them more streamlined and user friendly. The credit card feed is constantly comin unconnected, rendering the service useless. They claim to process invoices but there is no way to differentiate them from receipts! This system is a complete nightmare for my accounting. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Expense report approval is automated. *IF* the credit card data is syncing, it makes it easier. If it is not, it gives notice to users that anything is wrong -and simply disconnects the credit card feed! They don't have a native integration with one of our AP tools: the workaround is pretty straight forward with a CSV upload/download process that Rillet's engineering team customized for us, but I'm hoping they roll out a native integration at some point. There is not much I can say I dislike. I could nitpick at a few minor features, but it would be doing a disservice to the platform. Our company facilitates peer-to-peer lending and we are perhaps the largest in the country. So naturally we handle a large number of transactions on a daily, weekly and monthly basis. This leads to a lot of data being generated. To manage and reconcile this data, we are using Kosh. QuickBooks Online has took a prime spot in maintaining our organisation's Accounting and Financial analysis areas.

1. Tax Calculations: Complex tax calculations and compliance with tax liablity law are hectic at the period end. QBO with its feature of segregating tax component from the total invoice/bill amount have made it easier.

2. Financial Analysis: Any business that thrive to make its existence in the market will need a better analysis team that is driven by the tech analysis. Various Reports in QBO covers wide range of areas in the business that may be Human Resource cost, Product Cost, Financial standings of business period after period have been in the important role in analysis. I think one downside I've experienced is report writing. The Intelligent Query Architect can be quite cumbersome, especially if you are not used to SQL-type reporting. With ClearBooks the Accounting & Bookkeeping process has become much simpler and chances of errors have reduced significantly. As a small business owner, with ClearBooks installed in my business I can now focus on the core business operations while leaving the accounting function on it. One of the biggest headaches with our old system was that a single customer could have only one ship-to address. We do a lot of drop shipments for our dealers and it has been great being able to enter and save multiple ship-to addresses for a single bill-to customer. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The mobile app doesn't yet support businesses which have multiple currency transactions. This is something they're aware of and are working on. I've been using this for 9 years, new features are far between. I wish there were more external integrations, as well as a visual editor to produce custom styled invoices. Try it, you'll love it. Even if you're not well versed in accounting, the layout makes for easy management of your business accounting. For more complicated entries, I've simply relied on a quick call to an accounting firm and took care of the entry. So even more complex entries are well handled. Since though the Finance department is very demanding on the way results are displayed and with the amount of info they can get from a single screen its a common dislike across many platforms besides Classter. Customer support can be difficult to work with, whether it’s their staff not knowing how some features work, providing incorrect responses, or giving canned answers for the wrong issue. I feel like they've improved over the past year, but it’s still a challenge.
