I'm finally getting used to this software. It's simple enough to get started using it, but it's power is in the different paint settings and water dynamics. You can actually move paint around on the canvas by adding water and using the page tilt control! It's great for making abstract art digitally in a way that wasn't possible before. The realistic look of all the art tools is really impressive! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Vector graphics software used by designers of all types who want to create digital graphics, illustrations, and typography for all kinds of media: print, web, interactive, vid
One of the best things about Adobe Illustrator is its precision and versatility in creating vector-based artwork. The ability to scale designs infinitely without losing quality is incredibly valuable, especially for logos, icons, and illustrations. The wide range of tools—like the Pen tool, Shape Builder, and custom brushes—offer complete creative freedom. Additionally, the seamless integration with other Adobe products like Photoshop and InDesign makes it easy to streamline workflows across different design projects. I started using Miro more frequently during the pandemic, and it quickly became a go-to tool for team online meetings. It’s incredibly addictive—once you start using it, it's hard to switch to anything else. The flexibility and ease of collaboration make it feel like an essential part of the workflow, especially when working remotely. Even now, I find myself using Miro for almost every project or meeting. It just works, and it keeps our team connected and productive in a way other tools haven't been able to match. In my work day as legal professional, I am constantly using PDF documents (editing, changing, documenting, and required for submissions). In addition, sending documents for signature electronically has to be easy. I was having difficulties with my paid Adobe subscription. Not having my own IT professional in house for assistance, I had to figure out what the issues were and why they kept happening with Adobe. Eventually, as I couldn't get answers and problems kept occuring with Adobe, I started the search for an alternative document editing software. After research, reviewing, and testing, I decided Foxit looked to be the choice to meet all my needs for PDF document creating, editing, security, and ease of use. Plus, the price point was in my range (and less than previous subscription of Adobe). I have used it for +1 month now. It integrates seemlessly with my other systems (Microsoft user, Brother printing/scanning) and has been quite easy to navigate. My staff loves Foxit much better than Adobe which caused everyone headaches from time to time. Due to the cost of Adobe to add additional users, I had to monitor the implementation of the licenses. With Foxit, the cost was within the same budet so that all the appropriate licenses I needed to get are included in what was purchased. I highly recommend Foxit as your main PDF document creating and editing tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Adobe InDesign is a versatile desktop publishing application that gives you pixel- perfect control over design and typography.
I find InDesign very easy to use. The way images are linked instead of embedded into the file saves on file size. This also eliminates the need to replace any image contet if it has been revised in another program. Even though InDesign is mostly a publishing software, I have used it most often to create presentations for clients with easy to make layouts that look professional. I also will often use InDesign as a quick way to communicate and discuss changes or edits to designs (for example 3D renders), so there is an easy visual document, instead of just going back and forth in emails with attachments. Vector drawing and illustration for OS X
The vector editor, Affinity Designer, really impressed me. First of all, it is not expensive, has many export formats (including EPS, which is very important for me as a designer working with micro stocks and has necessary functions that I'm not seeing in the most famous vector editors. Also, I like the user-friendly and customizable interface. I didn't have many programs crashes with Affinity Designer, although I sometimes worked with large files. I decided to give paslfy a try beause I was looking for an alternative/complementary solution to Canva and I decided to give Plasfy a chance.
As first impressions it does it job, has a lot of room for improvementse, but given the start up status of Plasfy, it has time to close the gap among more settled competitors.
It also comes with a selection of interesting upselling products. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
