What do you like best about Gusto?

REVISION: the software is wonderful and easy. They customer service is terrible if you don't fit right into what they want you to do. If there is a question or problem that isn't on the script you will not get help, no matter how much you escalate or beg for help.

It is so intuitive to use. After using ADP and UKG this is very easy to figure out how to do everything. Our payroll support person was so informative and usedful. The integration was very easy. Our employees are finding it much easier to adjust to as we have implemented the new system. Gusto is the perfect solution for our company. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Gusto?

REVISION: The customer service is great, when your problem is on the script. Non-existant if it isn't on the script.

REVISION: They did not care if our payroll was on time or not.

It's been an excellent solution for our growing business that is 100% remote, in which we need to frequently hire, onboard, and and promote team members efficiently.

I dispatch dozens of work orders daily for 24 forepersons. We recently launched Field Service for front-end desk users and mobile users in the field. The drag-and-drop functionality in scheduling makes this feature so easy to use from my chair and the field personnel being able to quickly see their service appointments on a map, reject or accept what's been dispatched to them is fast and easy to do. In our construction industry, moving away from paper even into spreadsheet took time. Graduating to filling out forms on an iPad was the next step. It's not an industry known to be accepting of change. But Salesforce makes it so easy, our early adopters have seen the benefit and picked it up immediately. Impressive!! What do you like best about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?

As a first time user, the platform was intuitive and easy to use. When booking a hotel room, I like how the results could be filtered based on the address of the event I was attending. Being able to filter search results based on price range or "Navan rewards" was helpful, too. Flights were just as easy because there was a note at top indicating my company's maximum spend amount. When I booked my flight, it wasn't totally clear where or how to upload my receipt for reimbursement. I didn't upload any receipt because I assumed it was automatic that the inbound and outbound flight invoices would be attached to my booking. That wasn't the case because, somehow my inbound flight was correct (even though I didn't upload a receipt) but my outbound flight was correct and applied to the booking for my reimbursement. What do you like best about Ramp?

I love how wonderfully simple Ramp has made expense management for us. We do a lot of travel in our work, visiting job sites around the country, and we rack up a lot of expenses and paper receipts which normally would totally get lost and forgotten. But Ramp sends a text and reminders for each time a receipt is required, and being able to submit a photo by text has made it super easy for our team to stay on top of getting them submitted. Plus, these expenses get reported in a daily digest which I look at every day to keep an eye on our rate of spend.

Then, when accounting time rolls around, we use the Quickbooks integration which easily imports our transactions into our books. Since Ramp automatically categorizes expenses with pretty good accuracy, it's very easy for us to set up rules and run a few checks before committing those to our books. We used to use spreadsheets for this, so this is a gamechanger.

We also recently started experimenting with using virtual cards to categorize and compartmentalize spending. This has brought a whole world of customization to our awareness. I can't wait to dive deeper into these settings to modernize our spend workflow, which has basically lumped all our transactions together on physical cards.

I wholehartedly recommend Ramp to any company with more than a few expenses per month. It makes tracking those a breeze, and the added accounting discipline made by possible by Ramp's encouragement is a huge help when tax time comes along. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Ramp?

Ramp has a lot customizability, and sometimes these get lost in menus. There is a search bar which I wish were more prominent and more granular for finding these settings - though it would be amazing if the menus could be fine tuned so that settings could be found organizally. Ramp helps us track the many expenses we generate from business travel which often have paper receipts which are easily forgotten. What do you dislike about BambooHR?

Hugh downside for us is that we can not add contracted employees. We are a small company and have 4 contracted employees which do not need to use any of the feature (like requesting time off, payroll, etc.) in BambooHR, therefore it doesn't pay to pay for them to be added to BambooHR. Since their isn't a way to add this type of contractor for free, they do not show on the company dircetory and we have to maintain a seperate company directory.

I also wished we could link the Who's out calendar to our current calendar instead of just adding another calendar in out Outlook. Would also like to see entries in the Who's out calendar show notes from the time off requests, or be able to add notes that are not lost when the calendar refreshes. Right now if an employee takes of half of a, there is no way to note if they are out in the am or pm.

Do not like the asset tracking. I would like to have a main location to add an asset and assign it from there instead of having to recreate the same equipment anytime it is reassigned to someone else. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

When approving time off requests, BambooHR show you who else is schedule off during that time. This helps us manage and maintain adaquate coverage. What I like least about Sage is that there is so much to learn. I had to take alot of training classes in order to just use what I would use for my everyday job. This system unfortunately not be for everyone. I'm a super fast learner but even this was difficult to use starting out and was really confusing. Also, the trainers weren't very good to me. I learned alot just trial and error onmy own- playing around with the system. There is still so much for me to learn as well and it seems as though the learning never ends. I also do not think I have access to the customer support, I believe just our leadership does. Which means I have to reach out to multiple people in order to get help with something. What do you like best about Emburse Chrome River Expense?

Prior to going with Chrome River we used an "in house" or "homegrown" version of an expense system. While it was ok for the time, it was not right for our growth. After launching Chrome River and gettting the employees to learn the easy system, it has saved Numerous hours at various levels. First with the mobile app and feature of obtaining the receipts at time of creation, it allows the busy traveling employees then to focus on their "main jobs" while delegates can prepare their reports while the employees are still traveling. Our turn around time to reimburse or reconcile our corporate cards has cut over 60%. Also, using the built in Analytics allows the Admin, leadership to have visibility as spend is happening, and tracking the lagging reports to ensure these expenses are being exported into our financial systems in a timely manner, along with giving us keen insight into our spending habits, showing trends, alowing us to make informed decisions. Many relied on getting information from the financial system, but Analytics provides detailed information, especially on those costs that have yet to export. Great Product with easy to use tools. Some of the reminder "emails" i wish we could change them EASILY to fit our language and to be easier to read for our employees. What do you like best about Mesh Payments?

Great customer support whenever I have needed to contact them, and generally easy to make online payments and in-person payments with the linked card.

The only limitations here, which can be confusing for UK merchants, is that this is signature based rather than PIN based (Yes, I get the occasionally funny look). The card is all black, so there is no visible signature to verify.

There are also merchants and payment providers who do not accept this type of card online, though they are few and far between. Some charge an additional fee (seems highly suspect) for using a VISA Business card, or 'pre-paid' card also, which hasn't been ideal when needed.

What do you dislike about Keka?

There are no specific points to dislike about Keka however the response from the customer support team sometimes takes longer. The process flow is lengthier and it consumes more time to read the entire module to understand the process. What problems is Keka solving and how is that benefiting you?

Keka helps to resolve the manual calculations that are involved in payroll processing. It helps to circulate Form 16 easily to all the employees. It helps to calculate the income tax and document collection in one place. The leave and attendance management module makes it easier to track the employees attendance and penalize them whenever required. Keka is very useful for performance management and to implement the OKR module to track the performance of the resources. It helps in terms of goal setting, performance evaluation, and feedback sessions, which motivates employee engagement and growth. What do you like best about Connecteam?

Chat, group chat and channels are some of the best features but there is SO much more. Our company started out looking for a platform for better company communications. Connecteam checked this box and did it very well but there are so many other features we use regularly. What do you dislike about Connecteam?

Absolutely the biggest gripe is how Connecteam advertises a QuickBooks integration to export timesheets. This is inaccurate as you can only export regular hours. You cannot export PTO or OT from Connecteam to QBO......major bummer.

The ability to customize the home page or "Feed" page would be nice. The default shortcuts aren't always what's most frequently used by users.

When creating an event it would be nice to be able to export it to Google Calendar instead of just Apple Calendar. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Fyle?

The best part about Fyle is that it texts me when I use my company card. This is a helpful reminder to take and upload a picture of my receipt. What do you dislike about Fyle?

What problems is Fyle solving and how is that benefiting you?

Fyle is helping me solve the issue of forgetting to upload my receipts. My company used to use a different software for expense management that didn't include any reminders to upload receipts and wasn't connected to my credit card at all. That software was really just a place for me to upload photos.

Fyle is connected to my credit card so when I make a purchase, I get an alert reminder me to upload my receipt. This app communicates via email and text which is really helpful. Now I rarely forget. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
