Chargebee has been an excellent asset to the company and filled the need we had perfectly! When we implemented a new group of subscription-based products, we also needed to implement a new method of managing these products for customers and Chargebee's flexibility with going monthly, every three months, quarterly, annually, etc was really the biggest sell for us. IPM Suit Publishing Edition is one of the best tools for a working professional in the publishing industry. It's easy to use and simple to understand. It's straightforward to use it is being integrated with Oracle and it works amazingly. Data is bifurcated properly. Customer support is also outstanding we get resolutions very quickly.

My work revolves around the allocation of income received from subrights of license. Its system-based calculation feature is also very good which stops us from posting incorrect amounts and invoices are generated within 48 hours. User-friendly, I like the UI of the platform. Our sales team creates different contract terms with custom billing schedules to close enterprise deals. Zenskar was able to translate these terms and billing schedules into an automated billing workflow. It was impressive. Billsby is very user-friendly and easy to set up. If you've experienced using Chargebee then the layout will feel very familiar. There are some interesting features such as a good retention process that can be created quickly and will be very effective. The support and onboarding was excellent. I love how easy it is for the customer to navigate through the app and make changes to their subscription. I think user experience is super important and my previous app didn't offer a lot of 'no brainer' options for the customer, like being able to process an order straight away, and also being able to adjust their ongoing order easily.

After switching to Loop, it was amazing to see how much customers were changing their subscription around. From my point of view this means that customers always wanted these features, and previously they weren't able to easily make the changes they want. This would lead to either direct churn, or at the least lower LTV as they decided the subscription wasn't for them.

I've been with Freemius for a few months now and I'm so glad I made the decision to switch from EDD. Everything just works with Freemius and I'm not having to spend a ton of developer resources fixing things.

Not only that, I'm pretty sure sales are up as a direct result of moving to Freemius. Their checkout is intuative and they make upgrading licenses super easy. It's still early days but it's looking very promising.

They handle all sales tax which is yet another headache that I don't need to deal with. I'm finally able to focus on improving the product and helping customers which is exactly what I wanted.

Finally, I have to say their support is great. I'm a non-tech plugin founder and they answer my (probably stupid) questions with grace, while providing really useful insights into where I can improve. After using them for years, we realized that the churn rates and mrr metrics they reported on our dashboard were completely wrong and far from our reality. Because of this we misinterpreted our business performances for years!!!!!!

When we escalated the issue, after 2 weeks of back and forth saying they were fixing the problem, they ended telling us that unfortunately they won't be able to fix it and that it's better we use other data to analyse our performances!!!!

I could not believe that. I ask that all of you guys carefully review your churn data per products and try to set filters and make sure the data shown is real and not corrupted.

This is such a disappointment from an analytic company that we cannot even trust. We ll be transiting to another company after getting financial compensation for their mistakes. With IPfolio I can keep track of my IP applications such as number of applications, prosecution status, office actions, costs, etc. After our implementation period we went through a long period of internal re-structuring. After a few years we started using IPfolio again, and the IT support team has helped us to update our databases and has also helped us customize it for our current needs. I have received training from the IT support expert Kevin Nugget and have mastered the use of the tool. I now can create my own templates, my own new fields, customize the pages for our needs/use, and I can keep track of budget and do cost forecasting for the following years all bymyself.
