We required no investment in infrastrcuture and the solution was ready to deploy in a minutes. Logicmonitor works cloely with vendors to onboard key metric and aotumaically allocates alert severity indicators that we could leverage out of the box. The platorm is highly customizable but from an alerting level as well the client dashboard level, enabling us to provide client specific views of their critical infrastructure. The SLA widgets enables us to measure and report against key metrics aligned to our MSA's. While Netdata is a robust monitoring tool, its integration documentation could be more user-friendly to accommodate users with varying levels of technical expertise. Una cosa que no me gustó fue que en la versión 2.2 no se pusiera la integración de Openshift ya que sólo estaba disponible para la versión cloud. Pero he visto que para la 2.3 sí estará disponible. Lo comento simplemente para que sepáis que actualmente estamos en 2.2 y no podemos monitorizar nuestros clusters openshift y nuestro cliente estaba un poco mosqueado por el tema ya que se había anunciado (sin matices) que en la verisón 2.2 se soportaría openshift.

Sólo para custom graph, creo que se podría mejorar el tema de las gráficas para que sea más visuales como lo son en Grafana y que puedan ser dinámicas. Por ejemplo si haces un custom graph de la CPU de varios servidores, que puedas pinchar en un servidor y sólo te muestre su gráfica o pinchas en varios y muestra varias. The only real downside, is the limitation that everything has to involve your own network - though this is totally understandable. As great as it would be to see interactions between competitors and potential customers, wouldn't want to share that information about your own network. I use Kentik for several purposes. Primarily, have used it as an Internet Services Product leader to do research on potential customer opportunities and to help guide Sales. It provides great insight into the traffic patterns of potential customers, or opportunities to upsell existing customers who might not be optimizing their use of our network. Additionally, it's a good tool for looking at competitors and understanding their traffic flow and pinpoint target customers.

It's also a good tool for day-to-day study of the network. When there are significant changes to the network infrastructure (e.g.: new PoP, new peer, significant new customer), Kentik enables real-time assessment of the resulting shifts in traffic. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I haven't found to many things I dislike about ExtraHop. It is not an automated system that will block an attack as it is happening, but it does e-mail out alerts so that I have the ability to begin investigating the incident as soon as possible leading to a faster mitigation scenario. As an ISP our network security is very important. ExtraHop is a tool to help ensure we are seeing any attack in realtime, giving us the ability to troubleshoot and mitigate the issue in a speedy manner. If my organization doesn't use Zcaler, it would be an issue of getting my traffic into unauthorized sites and harmful sites, which can result in viruses or data loss. Also, we tend to go through a lot of ads. But with Zcaler, all the above problems are rectified, since I have secure access to the internet and abide by policy in all terms.
