I wish that Rippling integrated with our timecard system more seamlessly for time off requests. We have found a solution that works for us, but it does reqiure an extra step. There are no specific points to dislike about Keka however the response from the customer support team sometimes takes longer. The process flow is lengthier and it consumes more time to read the entire module to understand the process. Keka helps to resolve the manual calculations that are involved in payroll processing. It helps to circulate Form 16 easily to all the employees. It helps to calculate the income tax and document collection in one place. The leave and attendance management module makes it easier to track the employees attendance and penalize them whenever required. Keka is very useful for performance management and to implement the OKR module to track the performance of the resources. It helps in terms of goal setting, performance evaluation, and feedback sessions, which motivates employee engagement and growth. I am a non-resident alien, so I exempt from paying FICA taxes. The ADP does not have the feature for non-resident alien, so first, I struggled to set my payroll deductions. ADP operator helped me exempt from fica by changing some settings. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I am unfamiliar to US payroll deduction and UI taxes. I cannot calculate the deductions and pay taxes to IRS or state government by myself.

The only downfall that I have with Justworks is their full-time hours cannot be adjusted to accomodate our 7.5-hour full-time work day. The full-time work day included in Justworks is 8.0 hours. Therefore, we perfom manually adjustments for regular time, extra time, and overtime which is inconveinient. In the legal industry a 7.5-hour workday is common. There are very few bugs. Sometimes the scanner light won't work or something will freeze. We have been using the POS Go unit for about 1.5 years and every problem we've had has been fixed with a simple restart. The software can be a bit slow to respond.

My biggest gripe is the lack of support for subscription items on Shopify POS. This was a promised "coming soon" feature in summer 2023, but was pushed back until all mention of it was removed. PLEASE, Shopify, get this very important feature up and running! People want our subscriptions and we'd like to sign them up on the spot, not wait for them to visit our website. Hugh downside for us is that we can not add contracted employees. We are a small company and have 4 contracted employees which do not need to use any of the feature (like requesting time off, payroll, etc.) in BambooHR, therefore it doesn't pay to pay for them to be added to BambooHR. Since their isn't a way to add this type of contractor for free, they do not show on the company dircetory and we have to maintain a seperate company directory.

I also wished we could link the Who's out calendar to our current calendar instead of just adding another calendar in out Outlook. Would also like to see entries in the Who's out calendar show notes from the time off requests, or be able to add notes that are not lost when the calendar refreshes. Right now if an employee takes of half of a, there is no way to note if they are out in the am or pm.

Do not like the asset tracking. I would like to have a main location to add an asset and assign it from there instead of having to recreate the same equipment anytime it is reassigned to someone else. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

When approving time off requests, BambooHR show you who else is schedule off during that time. This helps us manage and maintain adaquate coverage. Even though Borderless AI has strong features, it can be a lot for someone who is new to it. A Product Manager by profession, I found myself overwhelmed by the richness of the platform. Our HR team needed time before they could understand all its features – particularly when it comes to legal and compliance issues. Also, although Alberni is revolutionary in its AI technology, we realized that sometimes it needed some human intervention to guarantee perfect document generation. Therefore relying on AI may not sound good since one has to cross-check its outputs during crucial compliance checks, hence making it look like a minus point. What I hope Borderless AI to solve for us are the following things as a Product Manager:

1. Payroll and compliance will be easier: With Borderless AI, it will be much easier for us to handle payroll and compliance for our international team and this will also decrease the administrative burden on our HR team.

2. Quick onboarding: The platform will be able to onboard new employees quicker in various countries while making sure that we comply with local regulations.

3. Legal and contractual assurance with Alberni: The AI copilot called Alberni helps in generating employment agreements as well as reviewing them which helps ensure they comply with laws hence reducing legal risks to employers

4. Worldwide workforce management: You don’t need a foreign entity to manage employees and contractors in over 170 countries due to Borderless AI, therefore saving us time and money during our global expansion. In short, borderless AI streamlines HR processes, reduces compliance risks, and allows Tracsis Events to run its international team more efficiently so as to focus on growth and innovation. Warp has a paid all round version which has made everything about the platform difficult because you have to pay for almost everything you do on the platform, the ease of implementation is not on a high level.
